On-Site Senior Rehabilitation Center
Senior rehabilitation services focus on helping older adults recover from a stroke, a fall, joint replacement or other surgery. Rehabilitation plans may include work with an occupational therapist, a physical therapist, a speech therapist, or any combination of the three. Because everyone’s road to recovery is different, our skilled team will work with your loved one and their physician to determine the goals for rehab and then create an individualized care plan to help them on their journey back to optimal health.
We offer personalized inpatient and out-patient short-term rehab services to current residents and older adults in the Kansas City area alike. For current residents, one benefit of rehab at Claridge Court is that it allows them to remain in the comfort and familiarity of our community. For non-resident older adults, an inpatient short-term rehab stay provides access to all the same services and amenities as current residents and is an opportunity to see what life is like at Claridge Court.

Skilled Nursing Services in Prairie Village
Different injuries or illnesses may require short-term or long-term skilled nursing care. Some of the conditions that might require skilled nursing care include:

Skilled nursing services at Claridge Court are available in our dedicated skilled nursing wing to current residents and on a direct-admission basis. Our skilled nursing center has received a 5-star rating from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid. This rating, which ranges from 1 to 5 stars, is a way to rate and compare skilled nursing providers and factors in individual quality ratings for nursing facility health inspections, quality of resident care, and staffing.
The compassionate medical providers in our skilled nursing wing include an on-site geriatric physician as well as nurses, certified nursing assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists. Our team will work with your loved one to understand their wants and needs, then create a personalized plan for their stay in our skilled nursing community.
Care for Life at Claridge Court
Claridge Court is a continuing care retirement community in Prairie Village, Kansas. We offer our residents a Type A Life Care contract, which entitles them to priority access to our on-site health services, should they ever require them, at little to no extra cost. We also offer independent living residents select health and support services in their apartments through our Lifespace Personal Services.
